The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of oral hygiene practices. You will work closely with dentists and other staff members to deliver exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional environment. Responsibilities- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories accurately in the electronic health record system (Ora Cloud Based Practice Management System).- Assist in the management of patient records and ensure compliance with dental terminology and medical coding standards.- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including assisting in general dentistry procedures when necessary.- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities. Requirements- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.-Strong knowledge of dental terminology, general dentistry practices, and pediatric dentistry principles.- Experience with medical imaging techniques.- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, particularly children.- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate patient records.- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing compassionate patient care.
